An opportunity has arisen to join the Governing Body at King’s School, Rochester. Governors are responsible for the strategic direction and vision of the school and overseeing financial performance. King’s School Governors are also Directors and Trustees of the School with legal responsibilities.
We are seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to expand the competencies of the existing Governing Body. We welcome applications from high-calibre professionals from all backgrounds, but particularly applicants with strong strategic experience in financial services, insurance, legal, property/operations management, architecture and engineering.
The role is non-remunerated, but expenses will be paid. The role will require a commitment of around ten days a year which will include attending Governors Meetings, serving on one of the Committees and attending training and development opportunities. There will also be an opportunity to be an active member of the King’s community and attend school events throughout the year.
