First Experiences – Pupils from Year 2 have the opportunity to join an eight-week programme of group instrumental lessons in a variety of instruments before committing to individual lessons. We currently offer First Experiences in Violin, ‘Cello, Drumming, Cornet and Trombone with more instruments to be added!

Pre-Prep String Group – This beginner ensemble gives pupils their very first opportunity at group music-making and is open to pupils who have completed the First String Experience and/or learn violin and ‘cello.

Pre-Prep Choir – A weekly group that rehearses unison and simple part-songs to encourage young singers. Several members of this choir have gone on to become choristers.
