Year 3 spent a fantastic STEM afternoon learning how to build aqueducts. Our mini engineers designed structures to carry water over distances experimenting with different materials and designs to see which worked best. They carefully tested their models, learning about balance, strength and the flow of water and had a wonderful time problem-solving in teams. The session was both fun and educational, giving the children a hands-on insight into engineering and the importance of STEM skills in the real world.
