It has certainly been a busy week in the drama studio.
Lower Fifth pupils explored physical theatre using Trestle masks — taking on the expression of the mask and adapting their body language to suit their character through dramatic movement, posture, and gesture. This built on their recent work studying Brecht and his techniques.
Year 8 also got creative with physical expression, learning to use body language effectively by acting out a thrilling shark attack scene in a boat!
Meanwhile, the Remove class took to the stage with a performance of a verbatim script, experimenting with their own lighting design to enhance the atmosphere.
