As part of this year’s Volunteers’ Week, we were delighted to receive a certificate recognising the outstanding contribution King’s pupils have made to the local community through the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE).
Over the past 12 months, our pupils have dedicated an impressive 988 hours to volunteering as part of their DofE programme—an estimated contribution worth £6,322.
The DofE team extended their congratulations, emphasising how volunteering not only benefits the community but also transforms young people’s lives. It helps them discover new passions, build confidence, and develop valuable skills. They also expressed heartfelt thanks for the support provided to participants, acknowledging that the encouragement and time invested in volunteering truly make a difference.
A huge congratulations to all of our DofE participants.
