School Hall echoed with screams on Saturday as a gruesome murder took place. Staff and parents, many in costume, were transported straight into the foggy, gaslit streets of Victorian England for an evening of suspense and intrigue. Guests, who enjoyed a delicious meal, were tasked with unravelling a sinister plot by watching a live play, reviewing evidence and conducting intense interviews with a cast of intriguing suspects. The atmosphere was palpable as everyone channelled their inner Sherlock Holmes, culminating in seven triumphant winners who successfully identified both the murderer and the motive. Beyond the brilliant entertainment, the night was a resounding success for the King’s Parent Supporters (KPS), raising money for the School through engaging games and a lively raffle. Thank you to everyone who contributed prizes, including parents, ORs and supportive local businesses and our gratitude to the KPS and Hannah Catlett for organising such a memorable and fun evening.
