Year 5 had the chance to revise their knowledge of our Solar System when they had an online visit from a real astronomer from the Royal Observatory, Greenwich. The astronomer was super impressed with our pupils’ knowledge, and at the end of our session gave us some in-depth and technical answers to some excellent questions from the Year 5s, such as “If the sun is just helium and hydrogen, why can’t we just make a small one?” and “If moons orbit planets and planets orbit stars, what do stars orbit?”
