Nursery and Reception Open Morning

Every big adventure begins with the first step, at King’s we provide a nurturing community from day one.

We warmly invite prospective parents and carers to discover what makes King’s School Rochester the perfect place for your child’s early education. Please arrive via the brown gates on King Edward Road, these are the gates to our Prep School Yard where there will be limited parking available.

The open morning will begin with refreshments and a warm welcome from our Vice Principal of the Junior School, Mrs Kellie Crozer, who will share insights into our approach to early years education and what makes King’s School Rochester unique, followed by short talks from Sixth Form Pupils who have been at King’s from Reception.

Following the talks, guests will be taken on guided tours of our beautiful school, led by our dedicated Early Years team. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore our vibrant Nursery and Reception classrooms and specialist learning spaces.
  • Meet our dedicated EYFS team and hear how we create a nurturing, engaging and enriching start to school life.
  • Find out about our specialist teaching in Music, P.E. and Languages, as well as our exciting co-curricular programme, designed to inspire curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.
