
The Reception children thoroughly enjoyed puddle jumping and water play as part of their Outdoor Learning. This session provided many opportunities for physical development as well as creative and sensory exploration. The children explored changing the puddles by adding powder paint and washing-up liquid, creating colourful, bubbly effects. Using brooms, they spread the water, experimenting with movement, all of which supports the development of their gross motor skills. They also added some colour to the fences, strengthening their fine motor control. A wonderfully messy, colourful lesson that the children were fully engaged with and loved every minute of!

Silas completed his fourth Cotswold Marathon at the weekend, a competitive overnight 30-mile event across the Cotswold Hills involving over 500 Scouts, Guides and Leaders.
