On Monday 9th September, six new King’s Scholars were admitted onto the Cathedral Foundation by Dean Philip Hesketh. Since Henry VIII made provision for scholars after our refounding in 1542, the School has admitted academic scholars onto the Foundation in recognition of our close ties with the Cathedral. Following their academic success, Kimran S, Bryer L, Shiv L, Cara J, Nicholas R and Malik N join their peers as King’s Scholars, and become part of this historic connection that dates back 500 years. Congratulations!

Thank you to Bentley Photographic for the excellent photos.
