On Saturday our rowing team competed at the Chiswick Regatta on the river Thames. The Regatta first took place in 1924 and we were proud to be part of the 100 year anniversary celebration. We had three crews competing: one girls double (WJ15 2 x L5th), one boys coxed quad (J15 4 x L5th), and a boys senior quad (J17 4 x 3 U5th and 1 L6th).
The two J15 crews rowed really well and for some of them this was the first time racing in a rowing regatta. The senior quad had to race in an open event as there was no competition in their age group but won the heat before going on to win the final as well. Well done to everyone who took part.
