This year, we have been raising money for the Maasai community in Northern Tanzania which we visited in 2017 and 2024. Sadly, our current trip had to be postponed a year, however we are ready to visit again in 2027. This year, we donated over £12,000 to the MAPED Masai cooperative, who have put our donations to good use, both in their school and in buying a second-hand tractor to help farm their land. This will make a lot of difference to the community, as they continue to work towards a more self-sustainable way of living. The team leaders are very grateful for our donations and our ongoing connection with this Christian NGO. Asnath, one of the leaders of MAPED, wrote and said; ‘We don’t know how to thank you and your school. God bless you for continuing to help us with the children of our Masai community school.’ King’s very much looks forward to visiting next year and seeing the tractor in action.
