The King’s Athletics team enjoyed a fantastic day in the sunshine at the Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford on Friday 13th June.
Athletics is an individual sport, and every one of our pupils should feel extremely proud of their achievements. We witnessed a plethora of P.B’s throughout the day.
The purpose of this regional event is to select athletes for the Kent Squad, who will go on to compete at the IAPS National Championships at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham on Tuesday 2nd July. We are thrilled to announce that the following King’s pupils have been selected to represent Kent:
- U12 Samuel – Javelin
- U13 Ben – 200m
- U13 Georgina – Shot and Discus
- U13 Austin – Shot
- U13 Ava – 100m
- U13 Jessica, Ebi, Michelle, Ava – Relay Team
- U14 Macauley – High Jump
- U14 Millie – Triple Jump
- U14 Daniella – Discus
Before the nationals, our athletes will also be competing at the Medway District Championships at Medway Park on Monday 30th June. We wish them the very best of luck for another successful day on the track and field!
