To See You Thrive
Short Film From King’s

To See You Thrive is more than a new promotional film for King’s. It represents the essence of who we are and what we value as a School.

At the heart of the film is a simple but important message: every child should be given the opportunity to discover who they are, develop their strengths, embrace new opportunities and grow in confidence – in an environment that supports, challenges and inspires them.

The film captures King’s through the experiences of our pupils and the many moments that make up life here: in the classroom, on the sports field, on the stage and within our wider community. It reflects the breadth of opportunity available to our young people, but also the nurturing and supportive environment that helps make those opportunities possible.

The words of the film are particularly important. The voiceover, beautifully delivered by two of our pupils, takes the form of a poem that reflects the King’s experience and our commitment to helping every young person find their own path and thrive. Each section of the poem has been carefully written to stand in its own right and will help shape the way we communicate and tell the King’s story moving forward.

This film has only been possible because of the time, commitment and generosity of so many members of our community. Our pupils, parents and staff have all played a part in bringing it to life, alongside the incredibly talented team at Affixxius.

Most importantly, however, the message behind the film belongs to all of us.

Every day, in different ways, our staff help to create the experiences, opportunities, encouragement and sense of belonging that allow our pupils to thrive. We hope that when you watch the film, you will see not only King’s as it looks, but King’s as it feels.

We are incredibly proud of what has been created and are excited for To See You Thrive to become an important part of how we share the King’s story with our wider community.
