The School is frequently congratulated on the smart appearance and polite manners of its pupils. We are particularly proud of the King’s School Rochester uniform and pupils are expected to wear it with pride.

In this section, you will find a comprehensive list of the uniform requirements for your child.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be some new uniform for Nursery pupils for September 2024. You will be advised when it is available to purchase. Whilst we are awaiting these new items, we have stock of our existing Nursery uniform, available to purchase via this google form.

Nursery Uniform

These items are the existing uniform for Nursery and can currently be purchased from our uniform supplier Monkhouse Schoolwear Specialists (www.monkhouse.com):

Items marked* may only be purchased from our uniform partner, Monkhouse.

• Black cotton shoe bag, named on the outside with a large name tag or sewn name in white*
• Short white socks
• Navy coat/ jacket with school badge & zip-out fleece*
• Book bag*
• Black trainers (black trainers are essential footwear for Nursery children, preferably with velcro fastening)
• School beanie hat* (Winter)
• Plain navy gloves (Winter)
• School scarf* (Winter)
• School cap* (Summer)
• Jewellery (including earrings) is not permitted.
• All children should also have a pair of wellington boots (any colour) in school.

These items are the existing Nursery uniform which pupils can wear until Summer term 2026 and can be purchased directly from the School via this google form:

Orders can be placed by ringing Monkhouse on 0161 476 7216. Should you wish to speak to one of the specially-trained uniform advisers, this service is available Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 17:00.
