Our Remove, Lower Fifth and Lower Sixth pupils took part in a fantastic CCF Field Day.

The sheer variety of activities on offer perfectly captures the spirit of opportunity, teamwork and resilience we foster here at King’s School, Rochester:

🪖 Army Section: Pupils headed to The Alps to hone their communication skills, mastering everything from traditional semaphore and braille communication to field radios.
✈️ Air Force Section: Our budding aviators took to the skies via flight simulators, alongside some hands-on aerodynamics practice engineering plywood wind-up airplanes and balsa wood drones.
⚓ Navy Section: Taking full advantage of our historic location, the Navy section spent a brilliant, active day out on the water at Upnor, developing their sailing and paddleboarding skills.

🎭 Theatre Productions: Away from the field, our dedicated TechSoc pupils worked tirelessly preparing the technical production for the Junior School performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

A huge thank you to all the staff and instructors who made the day such a resounding success, and well done to all our pupils for throwing themselves into these challenges with such characteristic energy after a demanding week of exams.
