Today, the Cathedral was filled with pride and celebration as parents, pupils and staff came together for the Prep School Prize Giving. This special event marked the end of another successful academic year and offered a chance to reflect on the many highlights and achievements of the past months. The service included a review of the year, with musical performances from pupils that showcased their talents and added to the sense of occasion.

Prizes were awarded to pupils in recognition of their achievements, efforts and contributions to school life. Among them, Sienna L (7ES) became the first pupil to receive the new Linnett-Charles Family Prize for ‘Work Hard, Play Hard, Look After Each Other’—a fitting tribute to the Principal’s much-loved mantra, ensuring his legacy continues to live on in the heart of the King’s community.

Mr Charles brought the celebration to a joyful close with a rousing singalong of It’s a Long Way to Tipperary and Pack Up Your Troubles, before leading the school in our traditional Carmen Roffense song.

Afterwards, everyone gathered on The Paddock for afternoon tea and to say farewell before the start of the summer holidays.
