Our audience enjoyed a night of sparkling musical performances, showcasing the talents of both pupils and staff. The program was as diverse as it was brilliant, featuring timeless classics by ABBA and The Carpenters alongside modern hits by artists like Billie Eilish and Reneé Rapp. Our lineup was expertly accounted by stalwarts of the emcee-ing profession Chester C and Ludo (U5), who brought many a laugh to the event. Mr Mountford brought misty eyes to the crowd with ‘Wind Beneath my Wings’, his tribute to Mrs Mountford, and Mr. Smith and Mr. Charles brought the house down with their rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”

The award for Most Frequent Performer goes to Selena (U5), who performed three times, singing duets in addition to her solo. The Greenest Performer of the night was Ms Pine, who joined Ms McIntyre and Melissa (L6) for their hilarious interpretation of “Popular” from Wicked. Our suited-and-booted U6 Barbershop quartet (Chris, Hugh, Inigo & Nathan) brought some class to the evening with ‘Sh-boom’; their dulcet tones will surely be missed, and we hope they return for an OR Open Mic in the future. Just when we thought the fun was over, Mr Owen surprised us with an impromptu performance of “Copacabana.” Special mention goes to Bobby (L6), who organised the house band and played drums like a true professional. Thank you also to our tech team, Robert and Ella (L6), for their expertise, and to Mr Snoswell for handling front-of-house responsibilities.

Ticket proceeds supported Cancer Research. Well done to all who performed—we can’t wait for the next one!
