Last Friday King’s hosted a Charity Quiz Night to raise funds for the Kent Air Ambulance and Cancer Research UK. The event raised £400 for the charities and we wish to thank the teams who entered for helping to make it an entertaining evening.

Mr Medhurst was our quizmaster and posed some challenging, thoughtful and interesting questions. The picture round encouraged discussion on travel, but we were surprised that one team didn’t recognise Bluewater. The highest scoring round was the number round, with Pink Pony Club scoring 9/10. Guessing the flavour crisps was not as easy as teams thought it might be, with the highest score being 3/10.

Congratulations to the The Principal and his team ‘The Good, The Bad and The Ugly’ who won with 62/100, and to ‘Just Drifting’ who came a close second with 60/100.

Our thanks to Mr Medhurst for the quiz, Major Short for running the bar, Mr Smith for his marking and Frank, Selina, Gabriel and Aayisha for their support in setting up the crisp round and running our smaller games to raise additional funds.
