Year 1 came face-to-face with an amazing array of creatures from all over the world in a Creepy Claws workshop this week. Our brave pupils had the chance to learn fascinating facts and even get hands-on with some very special guests. From the giant African land snail to the tickly prickles of a friendly hedgehog, the children showed wonderful care and curiosity. A highlight of the day included getting up close with a tarantula! It was a fantastic way to bring our learning to life, helping the children understand different habitats and how these incredible animals use their “creepy claws” and unique features to survive.
