Over the Easter break, two teams of L5 pupils headed to the Forest of Dean for their Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award practice expedition.
Navigating the terrain along the borders of Wales, pupils completed a challenging three-day trek. The expedition tested their map-reading skills, teamwork and resilience as they managed their heavy packs over steep woodland trails. Both teams showed fantastic spirit throughout the trip, gaining essential experience as they begin preparing for their qualifying expedition later this year. Well done to all the L5 participants for a successful and determined start to their Silver Award!
