Year 5 and 6 pupils showcased their entrepreneurial spirit by organising a fantastic Young Apprentice business enterprise. Designed to give a hands-on introduction to the world of commerce, the project saw the school grounds transformed into a bustling marketplace for Y4-8 to enjoy. The young professionals conceptualised and ran a variety of popular games, including lucky dips, mini-golf, archery and a knock the can down challenge. Alongside the entertainment, they managed inventory and sales for high-demand treats like sweets and cuddly toys. Through calculating startup costs, setting competitive prices and handling customer service, the pupils gained invaluable real-world experience in working out profit margins and understanding supply and demand, proving themselves to be genuine business leaders in the making.
