A brilliant competition at both Junior and Senior level. Whiston were unbeaten in the Junior competition but the resilience and sportsmanship shown by all participants was outstanding; a tournament played in fantastic spirit. The Senior competition was fiercely contested in every minute of every game. The last match saw a 14-14 draw between Storrs and Crick, which meant that Storrs retained the trophy due to a better head-to-head record against Parker.
