Our boarders visited Battersea Power Station — a decommissioned coal-fired power station located on the south bank of the River Thames. From its industrial past to its vibrant present as a shopping and entertainment venue, they marveled at the mix of old and new. Since there was much to do, they also stopped at a Starbucks to recharge with some caffeine.

Year 1 had such a fun day on Wednesday for Knights and Castles Day. They took part in jousting, a Tudor dance, created their own crests and even got to wear and hold different castle artefacts.
