Last weekend, 27 pupils took part in the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award practice expedition in the West Malling area of Kent, supported by 8 members of staff.
The expedition proved to be a valuable and rewarding experience for all involved, with pupils demonstrating resilience, teamwork and determination throughout the weekend. Along the way, many important lessons were learnt and new friendships were formed as participants worked together to complete the challenges of the expedition.
With the practice expedition now complete, preparations are already underway for the qualifying assessment expedition, which will take place during the half-term break. Staff are confident that pupils will continue to build on the skills and experience gained over the weekend.
