Music Scholar Charlie B (L5C) was invited to perform Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto no. 1 in G minor this week as rehearsal soloist with Hayes Symphony Orchestra.
The HSO is a community orchestra in South London directed by Mr Dan James, cello teacher and ensemble leader at King’s. It was a joyful collaboration that inspired all present with the power and positivity of music. Many thanks to the Music Department team for their combined efforts in preparing Charlie for this experience. Charlie will be performing a movement from this concerto as part of the Whole School Music Scholars’ Concert.
