Today, the King’s School Rochester community bade farewell to Chris Nickless, a former pupil and teacher of the School. At the Cathedral, his family was joined by over 300 former colleagues, pupils, friends, and contacts from Chris’s work as a local councillor to celebrate a life of remarkable achievement. With outstanding support from the combined School and Cathedral Choir, the congregation was deeply moved by Chris’s widow, Mairi, who read a eulogy that she and Chris had written together before his death. A man of many unique talents, Chris will be fondly remembered for his kindness and his unwavering support of the KSR community.
