The General Knowledge season has resumed after the winter break and Junior School and Senior School teams (the latter at both Intermediate and Senior levels) are in action in the Schools’ Challenge Competition, a buzzer-quiz styled on “University Challenge”. Matches against Bedford School, KEGS Chelmsford and St Colman’s College in Newry produced exciting contests with the Senior B team winning their match 300-240 points against our opponents from Northern Ireland after trailing going into the final five-minute rapid-fire round. Next week we take on Wycliffe College and Hills Road College, Cambridge as our quizzing takes us further around the UK.

Silas completed his fourth Cotswold Marathon at the weekend, a competitive overnight 30-mile event across the Cotswold Hills involving over 500 Scouts, Guides and Leaders.
