On Wednesday 24th January, the Pre-Preparatory school hosted the Year 2 and 3 House Chess matches. The Pre-Prep has a strong chess club with many talented players to choose from, among whom Myles stood out with his ability to memorise checkmate patterns and achieve a successful Fool’s Mate in only two moves. Everyone had a lot of fun, and the matches showcased the players’ mastery of some excellent checkmate strategies.

Congratulations to the Year 2 champions, Whiston and Crick who won Year 3.
