We are very proud of Albert B (8B), who competed in the Medway Rotary Club 2025 Young Musician Competition final. Despite being the youngest competitor by some margin, he held his own, playing and singing beautifully. In fact, Albert is the youngest competitor from King’s to have been part of the final of this competition and we were delighted to support Albert and witness this achievement.

In the end, the winner was a pupil from another school, but Albert received praise from the judging panel about the accuracy and clarity of his singing, as well as his ambition and resilience performing Mozart on the clarinet. Thanks are due to Miss Roux, who provided piano accompaniment to three of the four finalists, including Albert, who by taking part in this competition, was a real credit to himself and to King’s.
