During the Easter holidays, Saha and Tyee (L5) continued to showcase their exceptional tennis skills. The brothers participated in the Sutton Tennis Academy Grade 3 competition where Tyee made it to the quarterfinals, and Saha progressed to the semi-finals.
They both played in a week-long tournament at Tunbridge Wells where Tyee excelled in the U16 quarterfinals, and Saha made it to the finals at U16 and U18 level. They also made it to the semi-finals in the U18 doubles competition, which is an impressive feat for 15-year-olds.
Saha’s excellent performance has earned him an invitation to play in a Tennis Europe tournament in Estonia, which is an Under 16 level tournament. This will provide Saha with the opportunity to compete against players in the year above him as well. The tournament will run for 10 days in May, and we wish Saha the best of luck in this exciting opportunity.
