Monday saw a fun afternoon of performances from 10 talented musicians from the Prep and Senior Schools. Each pupil was picked randomly through the use of a spinning wheel, and when the needle landed on their name it was their time to shine!
The two pieces of music that perfectly complemented our celebrations for Language and Culture week were:
- Lavender Field by Japanese composer (and Oscar-winner!) Karen Tanaka, played by John F (L6).
- Laat Die Wind my Neem (‘Let the wind take me’), an Afrikaans song sung and played by Nic W (U6).
