Year 2 enjoyed an immersive outdoor learning session in the Alps woodland area as part of their History topic on The Great Fire of London.
The children showed incredible creativity, working together to build houses using sticks and natural materials. This hands-on activity helped them visualise why the fire spread so rapidly through the wooden streets of London in 1666. It was a fantastic morning of teamwork, where the pupils shared fascinating facts while bringing their history lessons to life in the fresh air.

A dedicated dancer for years, Rosanna recently represented England at the Dance World Cup in Spain, winning Gold for 'Essence of Ireland' and two Bronze medals for 'Feet of Flames' and 'Celtic Fusion.' In recognition of these outstanding achievements, she was awarded a prestigious Velvet Cap at this week’s Whole School Service. Well done Rosanna.
