Siia, one of our Ukranian pupils, has reason to be smiling having received high praise from the HMC for her excellent essay writing skills in the HMC (Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference) Essay Writing Competition. They had some very strong entries in this year’s competition and whilst Siia did not win first or second prize, she was considered a worthy runner-up and was praised for her skill and efforts. Well done Siia!

The sun shone as they walked around the sites of central Paris with Mr Medhurst enriching the day with his detailed knowledge of the history and architecture of the city. They ate in a classic French bistro and visited Galeries Lafayette, where there is a spectacular view of the city. Paris was its beautiful and elegant self and much enjoyed by all on the trip.
