The East Africa team comprising pupils heading off to Kenya and Tanzania this July held a fabulous fundraiser last Saturday in aid of the two schools they will be visiting. Over 120 people came along, and the evening was full of games and fun, as well as a delicious East African meal provided by Silver Spoon in Chatham.

Alongside the money already being raised this year through the Charity of the Year fund, the proceeds from Saturday night will go towards things these African schools need most. Through the raffle, auction of promises, bar and ticket sales, we managed to raise over £3000. Thank you to everyone who came along and took part.
