We are delighted to celebrate the success of Rika G, one of our Lower Fifth pupils and Art Scholars, who recently attended an award ceremony in Piccadilly, London, after winning a nationwide art competition run by the Independent Association of Prep Schools.
The evening began with a drinks reception and an exhibition of the children’s artwork. Rika had a professional photo taken with her painting, which was a proud moment for both her and her family.
At the ceremony, Rika was the winner of the first prize award within the Year 9-10 category. Her narrative was read aloud, and her painting was praised for its clear skill. She received a certificate, a £50 voucher, and a beautifully framed photo of her work.
It was a wonderful evening that left a lasting impression on Rika and has boosted her confidence and enthusiasm for art. Congratulations, Rika – we are incredibly proud of you!
