Pupils in Years 2 and 3 had the opportunity to play in a musical showcase on Monday to an audience of friends, family and staff. Pianists Grace B (3G) and Tilly B (2K) played beautiful Marches: one Halloween-themed, and the other from the planet Mars complete with alien sound effects. Joshua F (3G) then played two self-penned piano compositions: A theme and variation on ‘Old MacDonald’ followed by ‘Sanitary Samba’. All the young musicians gave polished performances, as well as confidently announcing their pieces to the audience and acknowledging the audience’s appreciation (bowing!) afterwards.
