Our Drama and Music pupils went “way down Hadestown” for an unforgettable trip to the West End. The pupils were mesmerised by the soaring vocals and the tragic retelling of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth. It was a fantastic opportunity to see how professional lighting and folk-inflected music can combine to create a truly immersive atmosphere. Experiences like these are vital for understanding the power of live performance and we are sure the “epic” performances will influence our pupils performances in Les Mis later this term.
