
Year 4 are studying the Romans this term and the pupils have been very busy. Some have made villas, mosaics, ballistas or shields, helmets and swords. Some pupils have made banquets at home and sent in pictures – one pupil even brought in Roman wine and dates for everyone. Lots of interesting research has been undertaken and posters and Top Trump cards have been some of the ways this has been shared with friends and teachers. Some Year 4s even found out how to use a sheet to make a toga.

On a beautiful, sunny Monday, all 68 GCSE History pupils travelled to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, to investigate the development of aircraft and warfare in the 20th century.
