Year 4 are studying the Romans this term and the pupils have been very busy. Some have made villas, mosaics, ballistas or shields, helmets and swords. Some pupils have made banquets at home and sent in pictures – one pupil even brought in Roman wine and dates for everyone. Lots of interesting research has been undertaken and posters and Top Trump cards have been some of the ways this has been shared with friends and teachers. Some Year 4s even found out how to use a sheet to make a toga.
