Those who joined in Senior School may not know where, or even what, the Wellbeing Centre is––but my friends and I believe they should. Our visit on Wednesday showed us just how much it had to offer. The beads were popular and it’s safe to say we all left with a bracelet. There was also a prayer room catering to all faiths. It was very peaceful compared to Main School Yard, the plants making it feel less like a classroom and more like a garden, or even like being at home.
I appreciate that students who aren’t struggling can visit, and use it as a place to relax between lessons. For those who are, therapy sessions are available by email. It’s exam season and these are needed more than ever, so it’s important that people give them a go. There is something for everyone at the Wellbeing Centre, be it the books, the quiet, or the colouring; and I for one know we will be back soon.
