On a very hot afternoon on Tuesday the U15 Girls cricket side competed at the Super 8’s Finals day hosted by The Mote CC with the competition being organised by Kent Cricket. The team had played in the group stages of the competition on the 20 May at St Lawrence and Highland Court CC. Despite losing to Sutton Valence in a well-balanced game, a strong win against St Edmund’s meant they progressed to the finals.

The girls took on Walthamstow Hall in their semi final game. Despite losing this game the girls played with great spirit and teamwork. Their final game for third or fourth place was against a strong Tonbridge Grammar school. The game was close but won by Tonbridge. Our girls came fourth in the Kent Super 8s and should be proud of their achievement.
