King’s School Rochester showcased remarkable talent at the Senior School Swimming Gala against King’s Canterbury, with both under 16s and under 18s delivering standout performances across all categories.

The senior boys team did extremely well with wins in all events for Nahum F (Lower Sixth). Lanre D (Remove) also won all his events for the junior boys and broke three school records in 50m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke and 50m Fly.

The senior girls competition was the closest I have seen in years. Both relay races were neck and neck throughout. Cara J (Upper Fifth) won all her races, closely followed by Tixie P (Lower Fifth).

The junior girls did brilliantly with a team including two Prep. School pupils Romy J (Year 8) and Charlotte J (Year 8). Charlotte won her 50m butterfly race.

We missed out on the win by 1 point.
