CO-CURRICULAR

It is our core belief that our pupils learn just as much outside the classroom as they do inside.

We consider participation in clubs and activities an integral part of the King’s experience. From Reception (4+) through to Sixth Form, there is an extensive range of co-curricular pursuits from which to choose, taking place during lunchtime, after school and at the weekend. We also offer a range of trips both in the UK and abroad to extend our pupils’ horizons.

In addition to our comprehensive sport, music, drama and arts programmes, we offer an impressive range of activities centring around personal development, including the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and LAMDA classes. In the Senior School, there is a scheduled co-curriculum programme every Friday afternoon, which includes the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), the Theatre Production Company, volunteering and an Enrichment Programme.
