King’s School Rochester

PARTNERSHIP WITH CHANTRY COMMUNITY ACADEMY

King’s has been supporting Chantry Academy School through our Head of Preparatory School Science, who has been regularly supplying them with library books.

King’s has provided materials (pallets for raised beds) for their award-winning garden project and King’s staff have been lending a hand during weekends and holiday time.

King’s has also visited and contributed to science learning by making video clips with skulls for Year Four to study teeth and dentition, loaning skulls to the school, and have visited Years Three with fossils and given talks.

Roffa the bear has also played a visit there and told his story of space adventure which included getting the pupils to fill balloons with Helium and tying a message onto them.
